Oslo City Hall (Oslo rådhus) stands in the city centre of Oslo, Norway, on the northern part of the Pipervika neighbourhood, facing the Oslofjord. Designed by Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson, it was built between 1931 and 1950 with an interruption during the Second World War. Its red brick walls rise to two towers, the taller 66 metres high, and the eastern tower houses a carillon of 49 bells. The building houses the city council and municipal administration and hosts the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony each December.
