Ouagadougou Cathedral, formally the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, is the Roman Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso's capital. Built in the 1930s by apostolic vicar Joanny Thévenoud of the White Fathers during the period of French West Africa, it is a Romanesque Revival building dedicated on 19 January 1936 after two years of construction. Behind it, near the car park, stands an altar to Mary, the Ave Maria, with a statue of the Virgin set in a carved stone arch.
