The Palace of Charles V is a Renaissance palace in Granada, southern Spain, set within the Alhambra on the Sabika hill. Designed by Pedro Machuca and built in stone, construction began in 1527 but was left unfinished after 1637. Restoration initiated by Leopoldo Torres Balbás after 1923 led to its completion, and the building, which never housed a monarch, stood roofless until 1967. It now holds the Alhambra Museum on the ground floor and the Fine Arts Museum of Granada on the upper floor.
