The Palais Brongniart is a Neoclassical building on the Place de la Bourse in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Begun in 1825 to house the Paris stock exchange, it was named for its initial architect, Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart, who died in 1813 before completion. Éloi Labarre is also credited among its architects. Vacated by the trading floor in 1987 and the last financial institution in 2004, it is now an events centre and a listed monument historique.
