Palais Schwarzenberg is a Baroque palace in front of Schwarzenbergplatz in Landstraße, Vienna's 3rd district, Austria, and is owned by the princely Schwarzenberg family. Construction began in 1697 under Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt, after the original commissioner, Heinrich Franz Graf von Mansfeld, died during the work. Prince Adam Franz of Schwarzenberg bought the unfinished property in 1716 and had it completed, with alterations finished in 1728 under Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach.
