The Palazzo Barberini is a 17th-century baroque palace in Rome, facing the Piazza Barberini in Rione Trevi. Begun in 1627 and associated with architects Carlo Maderno, Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini, it now houses the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica, Rome's main national collection of older paintings.
