The Palazzo del Podestà is a civic building on the Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, northern Italy, facing the Basilica of San Petronio. Built around 1200 as the seat of the local podestà, it was reconstructed in the Renaissance style in 1453 by Aristotile Fioravanti for Giovanni II Bentivoglio, who replaced its original Gothic façade. Its lower floor is a double open arcade, the Voltone del Podestà. It is listed as Italian national heritage.
