The Palazzo del Senato is a Baroque palace in central Milan, at 10 Via Senato, now serving as the Archivio di Stato. Construction began in 1608 under Cardinal Federico Borromeo, who intended it as a Swiss seminary college. The design was first assigned to Fabio Mangone and completed by Francesco Maria Richini, whose convex façade curves forward on the right to match the adjacent church.
