The Palazzo Ducale in Mantua, also called the Gonzaga Palace, is a Renaissance city palace and art museum in Mantua, Italy, and one of the city's main historic buildings. From 1308 it was the official residence of the Lords of Mantua, first the Bonacolsi and later the Gonzaga. Each duke added a wing for himself and his art collections, producing a complex of over 35,000 m², with more than 500 rooms, seven gardens and eight courtyards.
