The Palazzo Medici Riccardi is a 15th-century Renaissance palace in Florence, Italy, designed by Michelozzo di Bartolomeo for Cosimo de' Medici and built between 1444 and 1484. Its rusticated ground floor gives way to more refined stonework above, with horizontal stringcourses dividing the stories and a massive cornice capping the façade. It is now the seat of the administration of the Metropolitan City of Florence and a museum.
