Palazzo Re Enzo is a Gothic palace on Piazza del Nettuno in central Bologna, northern Italy, and is listed as Italian national heritage. Its inception dates to 1250, and Alfonso Rubbiani is named as its architect. The palace takes its name from Enzio of Sardinia, son of Frederick II, who was held prisoner here from 1249 until his death in 1272. It now sponsors cultural events and exhibitions.
