The Palazzo San Giacomo, known as the Municipio, is a Neoclassical palace in central Naples, Italy, standing before the Maschio Angioino fortress. King Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies commissioned it in 1816 as a centralized building for government ministries, designed by Vincenzo Buonocore, Antonio De Simone and Stefano Gasse, and completed in 1825. It now houses the mayor and the municipal offices, and its atrium holds statues of the Norman king Ruggiero and Frederick of Swabia.
