The Paleis voor Volksvlijt (Palace of Industry) was a large exhibition hall on the Frederiksplein in Amsterdam, near the present site of De Nederlandsche Bank. Designed by Cornelis Outshoorn and inspired by London's Crystal Palace, it was built between 1859 and 1864. It was destroyed by fire in 1929.
