The Pallottiner Monastery in Freising, Upper Bavaria, is a hall church dedicated to St. John, constructed between 1928 and 1930 by architect Jan Hubert Pinand. Built in clinker brick, this structure exemplifies late Expressionism in ecclesiastical architecture and stands as a significant work of the movement. Its bold, geometric forms and distinctive material choice reflect the modernist impulses of Expressionist design applied to religious architecture. The monastery is recognized as an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria.
