Built with brick and mortar, the mosque is distinguished by its minar (minaret), which gives the building its alternative name, Pa Minar Mosque. Its long architectural history—encompassing Samanid, Ghaznavid, and Safavid influences alongside later Qajar elements—reflects the region's successive cultural and dynastic developments.
