Park Crescent is a semicircular Georgian terrace of stuccoed houses designed by John Nash in London's City of Westminster, located at the north end of Portland Place near Regent's Park. Built under the patronage of the Prince Regent as part of Nash's grander vision for a Roman-inspired imperial West End, the crescent was originally conceived as a full circle to be called Regent's Circus, but was ultimately completed as a half-circle when Park Square was built to the north instead. The design cleverly incorporates garden buildings on the Regent's Park side of the square, allowing upper-floor residents of the crescent unobstructed views toward the park. Both the terraces and communal garden are Grade I listed buildings and are registered as part of Regent's Park's historic landscape; the Crown Estate, as freeholder, maintains the grounds and retains interests in lease renewals and ground rents.
