The Pavillon de l'Horloge, also known as the Pavillon Sully, is a prominent structure occupying the center of the western wing of the Cour Carrée at the Louvre Palace in Paris. Designed by Jacques Lemercier and begun in 1624, the pavilion's eastern façade dates to the 17th century. Its western face was redecorated in the 1850s as part of Napoleon III's expansion of the Louvre, under the direction of architect Hector-Martin Lefuel. Since the late nineteenth century, the name Pavillon de l'Horloge has been applied to the eastern face, while the western face is designated Pavillon Sully.
