Pawtucket City Hall stands at 137 Roosevelt Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, just beyond the city's central business district. Designed by Providence architect John O'Malley, this Art Deco structure was erected between 1933 and 1936 with financial support from the Works Progress Administration, the New Deal program that subsidized its construction costs. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building exemplifies the streamlined modernist aesthetic that characterized civic architecture during the Great Depression era.
