Penrhyn Castle is a country house in Llandygai, near Bangor in Gwynedd, North Wales, built in the style of a Norman castle. Thomas Hopper rebuilt the house in Neo-Norman form from 1822 to 1837 for George Hay Dawkins-Pennant, who followed a 1780s reconstruction by Samuel Wyatt. It is a Grade I listed building and a National Monument of Wales.
