Peratallada is a small fortified medieval town in the municipality of Forallac, in the Baix Empordà county of Catalonia, Spain, about 22 km east of Girona. Most of its buildings are made from stone carved from the moat that still encircles parts of the town. Its privately owned castle, documented from 1065 and restored as a luxury hotel in the 1960s, dominates the centre, while a 13th-century Romanesque church dedicated to Sant Esteve stands outside the walls. It is a designated Cultural Asset of National Interest.
