Perpignan Cathedral, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, is a Gothic Catholic cathedral in Perpignan, France, and a classified historical monument. Construction began in 1324 under King Sancho of Majorca and was finished in the 15th century. The building replaced the cathedral of Elne, serving first as the seat of the Bishop of Elne and, from 1602, of the Bishop of Perpignan–Elne. It was granted the status of minor basilica in 1875.
