Phantom Ranch is a historic lodge designed by architect Mary Colter and completed in 1922 at the bottom of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. Located on the east side of Bright Angel Creek, just over half a mile north of its confluence with the Colorado River, the ranch exemplifies the National Park Service rustic architectural style. As a member of Historic Hotels of America, Phantom Ranch represents an early example of hospitality infrastructure built to accommodate visitors within one of America's most iconic natural landscapes.
