The Pilgrimage Church of Saint John of Nepomuk stands on Zelená hora at the edge of Žďár nad Sázavou in the Czech Republic, near the historical border between Moravia and Bohemia. Designed by Jan Santini Aichel, it is his final work and combines Borrominesque Baroque with Gothicizing features in its construction and decoration. Work began in 1719, and the church was consecrated shortly after John of Nepomuk's beatification in 1720. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1994.
