The Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital is a charitable teaching hospital in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, part of the AP-HP Sorbonne University Hospital Group and a teaching hospital of Sorbonne University. Dating to 1657, its Baroque architecture is attributed to Henri Prudhomme, Antoine Duval, Libéral Bruant, Pierre Le Muet and Louis Le Vau. It is a classified historical monument.
