Point Atkinson Lighthouse stands on Point Atkinson, a headland in West Vancouver, British Columbia, named by Captain George Vancouver in 1792. Its first wooden lighthouse entered service in 1875, and a reinforced concrete tower replaced it in 1914. The 18-metre lighthouse, credited to architect William P. Anderson, is a federal heritage building and a national historic site of Canada.
