The Pontifical Basilica of St. Michael is a Baroque-style Catholic church and minor basilica on San Justo Street in central Madrid, Spain, beside the Archbishop's Palace. Begun in 1745 to a design by Santiago Bonavía, it serves as the church of the Apostolic Nunciature to Spain and is administered by Opus Dei priests. Pope Pius XI raised it to minor basilica status in 1930, and it is protected as a bien de interés cultural.
