Pulteney Bridge, a Grade I listed road bridge in Bath, England, spans the River Avon. Completed by 1774 to connect the city with the Bathwick land that Sir William Pulteney and his family wished to develop, it was designed by Robert Adam in a Neoclassical style and built of Bath Stone. It is one of only four bridges in the world with shops across its full span on both sides.
