At the centre of Hobart's Railway Roundabout—a three-lane intersection on the Brooker Highway at the top of Liverpool Street—stands a Googie-style fountain constructed in 1963. Originally built to accompany the city's main railway station, the fountain fell into disrepair for over a decade before undergoing restoration in 2013.
