Rankin Hall, the former administration building and chapel of Tarkio College in Atchison County, Missouri, is a substantial Collegiate Gothic structure erected in 1930–1931. This 3½-story, T-shaped edifice of brick and stone spans 144 feet wide and extends 141 feet deep, featuring characteristic Gothic Revival details including steep projecting gables with stepped parapets, pointed arch windows, and decorative buttresses. The façade incorporates a refined mix of limestone and cast stone trim. Built to serve the Presbyterian college's dual administrative and religious functions, Rankin Hall stands as a testament to early twentieth-century collegiate architecture.
