Rao Rao Mosque stands in Nagari Rao Rao, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra, on the road from Batusangkar to Bukittinggi. Built in 1908 of wood, it is one of the oldest mosques in Indonesia and combines Minangkabau and Persian architecture. The single-storey building has suffered earthquake damage in 1926 and 2009, and it still serves for worship and religious education.
