Reggio Calabria Cathedral, a Roman Catholic minor basilica in Reggio Calabria, Italy, is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and is listed as Italian national heritage. Severely damaged by an earthquake in 1908, it was rebuilt in a modern eclectic style combining Romanesque and Gothic elements. The initial design by engineer P. Carmelo Umberto Angiolini was modified by engineer Mariano Francesconi, and the new church was consecrated in 1928.
