The Reno Nevada Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Reno, Nevada, and is the church's 81st operating temple. The First Presidency announced its intent on April 12, 1999, and it is the second temple in the state after the Las Vegas Nevada Temple, dedicated in 1989. Its single spire is topped by a gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni.
