Rohm Theatre Kyoto, formerly Kyoto Kaikan, is a concert hall in Sakyō-ku, Kyoto, Japan, designed by Hisao Kōyama and Kunio Maekawa. Its main hall opened in 1960 with 2,005 seats, alongside two smaller performance spaces seating 700 and 200. The post-modernist building closed in 2012 and reopened in January 2016 after a four-year redevelopment, with Kyoto semiconductor firm Rohm providing funding in exchange for naming rights.
