Rouen Cathedral, the Catholic seat of the Archbishop of Rouen, Primate of Normandy, stands in Rouen, France. Built and rebuilt over more than eight hundred years, it blends Early Gothic, late Flamboyant and Renaissance features, and its three towers are each in a different style. From 1876 to 1880 it was the tallest building in the world, and Claude Monet painted a famous series of Impressionist views of its façade.
