The Rudolfinum is a concert hall and event venue in Prague's Old Town, standing on Jan Palach Square on the bank of the Vltava River. Designed by Josef Zítek and Josef Schulz in the neo-Renaissance style, it was begun in 1876 and opened in 1885. It houses the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Galerie Rudolfinum, and its largest auditorium, Dvořák Hall, is noted for its excellent acoustics and is a main venue of the Prague Spring International Music Festival.
