Rumbeke Castle stands in Rumbeke, near Roeselare in West Flanders, Belgium, and is one of the oldest Renaissance castles in the country. Built largely during the Renaissance on the site of a far older fortress, it gained slightly Neoclassical features during an 18th-century renovation, when the adjacent Sterrebos forest, modelled on Vienna's Prater, was added to its grounds.
