The Sacro Cuore di Gesù is a minor basilica in Grosseto, Tuscany, designed in Renaissance Revival style by the engineer Ernesto Ganelli. Bishop Paolo Galeazzi commissioned it in memory of civilians killed in the American bombing of Grosseto on 26 April 1943, and it was consecrated on the fifteenth anniversary of that raid. Its bronze sculptures are by Tolomeo Faccendi, and the crypt bears the names of those who died in all of the city's World War II bombings.
