Saint Charles at the Four Fountains, also called San Carlino, is a Roman Catholic church on the Quirinal Hill in Rome, Italy, and an iconic masterpiece of Baroque architecture by Francesco Borromini. It was his first independent commission, received in 1634 under the patronage of Cardinal Francesco Barberini, and was built as part of a monastic complex for the Spanish Trinitarians, an order dedicated to freeing Christian slaves.
