Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais is a Roman Catholic parish church on Place Saint-Gervais in the Marais district of Paris's 4th arrondissement, east of the Hôtel de Ville. Built between 1494 and 1657 on the site of two earlier churches, it combines Gothic and classical architecture, and its facade, completed last, was the first example of the French baroque style in Paris. The organists Louis Couperin and his nephew François Couperin served here, and their organ survives. It is a classified historical monument.
