Surp Hakob Church, built in 1679 in the Kanaker-Zeytun District of Yerevan, Armenia, is a monument of Armenian ecclesiastical architecture. The church stands within sight of its sister-church, Surp Astvatsatsin, which was erected sixteen years later in 1695 on a nearby hilltop to the northwest. Both structures represent the Armenian architectural tradition and together form a significant pair of heritage landmarks within the modern Armenian capital.
