The Saint Petersburg Manege stands on Saint Isaac's Square in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as a former riding hall for the Imperial Horse Guards. Built in 1804–07 to a design by Quarenghi, one of his last commissions, it is an austere Greek Revival block whose portico of eight Doric columns recalls an Athenian temple. Since the late 1970s reconstruction, it has housed the city's main exhibition hall.
