Saint Thomas Church stands in Strasbourg, eastern France, and is a Gothic church dating from 1196. It is the city's main Lutheran church, a role it has held since the cathedral became Catholic again after France annexed the town in 1681. Nicknamed the "Protestant Cathedral," it is the only hall church in Alsace and has been a classified monument historique since 1862.
