San Bartolomeo all'Isola is a titular minor basilica in Baroque style on Tiber Island in Rome, Italy. Otto III, Holy Roman Emperor, founded it in 998, and it contains the putative relics of St. Bartholomew the Apostle. It stands on the site of a former temple of Aesculapius, whose healing associations the island's Christian hospital tradition continued.
