San Carlo ai Catinari is an early-Baroque church on Piazza Benedetto Cairoli in Rome, a few blocks south of Sant'Andrea della Valle. Its name refers to the wooden-basin makers (catini) who worked in the area when it was built. The Barnabite order commissioned it, and the city's Milanese community funded it in honour of St. Charles Borromeo, a fellow Milanese. It is one of several Roman churches dedicated to him.
