San Francesco d'Assisi is a Roman Catholic church in Trapani, Sicily, with roots in medieval foundations established in 1272. Originally conceived in the ancient Roman architectural tradition, the structure was substantially rebuilt between the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. The church adjoined a Franciscan convent, which was secularized in the nineteenth century and subsequently repurposed for civic and educational use. The church itself has remained in active religious service.
