San Francesco di Paola is a minor basilica on the west side of Piazza del Plebiscito, the main square of Naples, Italy. Begun in 1816 and completed in 1846, it was designed by the Swiss architect Pietro Bianchi, with its portico by Neapolitan architect Leopoldo Laperuta. The church is reminiscent of the Pantheon in Rome, with a circular interior and a dome 53 metres high.
