San Frediano in Cestello is a Baroque Roman Catholic church in the Oltrarno district of Florence, Italy. Begun in 1689 to designs by Gherardo Silvani, it replaced an earlier 1450s church attached to the cloistered Carmelite convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Its name derives from the Cistercians, who occupied the church from 1628.
