San Girolamo al Velloso is a Renaissance church and Franciscan convent complex sited just beyond the walls of Volterra, Italy, commissioned by the Medici patron Cosimo de' Medici. Designed by Michelozzo and completed around 1445, the building features a distinctive long asymmetric portico fronting two chapels adorned with glazed terracotta reliefs by Giovanni della Robbia (1501) depicting scenes of Saint Francis and the Last Judgement. The portico's design echoes Michelozzo's work at Bosco ai Frati. Inside, the main altar is flanked by an *Annunciation* by Benvenuto di Giovanni and a *Madonna and Child with Saints* by Domenico di Michelino, while an interior chapel contains an *Immaculate Conception* by Santi di Tito. The glazed terracotta statues of Saint Jerome and Saint Francis are attributed to Giovanni Gomelli, known as il Cieco di Gambassi. The adjacent convent now serves as a youth hostel and hotel.
