San Mattia is a Roman Catholic parish church in Rome, designed by Ignazio Breccia and completed in 1968, located in the Monte Sacro Alto quarter on via Corrado Alvaro. Built in brutalist style, the church features a distinctive square plan with an olive-shaped sanctuary and is articulated by seven grooves in the ceiling that converge toward the presbytery, symbolizing the seven sacraments. The interior is appointed with a marble altar and a floor of porphyry cubes laid in the traditional *sampietrini* pattern, grounding its modernist geometry in Roman building tradition.
