San Pietro in Ciel d'Oro is a Romanesque church in Pavia, Lombardy, Italy, and a minor basilica listed as Italian national heritage. Dating from the 8th century, it was served for centuries by Augustinian friars and is noted as the resting place of St. Augustine of Hippo and the 6th-century philosopher Boethius. Its name refers to the gold-leaf mosaics set behind glass tesserae on the apse ceiling, and its plain brick exterior is set off by sandstone quoins and window framing.
